This Lego Spike robot project will introduce science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to 2nd-5th graders through fun, exciting hands-on learning. Students will gain real-world problem-solving experiences through a guided robotics project. Students will use the materials to build a robot using lesson plans from an app and building their own design, code the robot to do a series of challenges, and compete in a tournament versus other schools. Students will code their robot with a real world issues in mind. They will grow in critical thinking skills in a hands on way.
