The materials with help students in my classroom learn in the classroom environment with hands-on learning when they are at work time exploring and small groups. We do small groups that children would not normally do at home. This extends students learning by doing something they haven’t done before. My students have an opportunity to take their work home home to start doing activities at home they haven’t done before with their parents or guardians that they done in the classroom. At work time, children explore the house area, book area, writing center, toy area, block area. Art area and the writing center.
