Students are researching Countries from Around the World. They are cooking foods from each of the countries they have researched and eaten to give an analysis of the foods they have prepared. My students have not ever traveled to other countries. They are discovered about their countries celebrations and traditions. I think it is important for students to experience other foods from different countries and learn about their celebrations. Students are more engaged in the research project they are very excited about learning about each country. They are looking forward to cooking and trying different foods from many countries.
