These social skills games and activities will be used to teach and support special education students. I am a school-based Recreation Therapist and I support students with underlying social skills necessary to engage in cooperative work lessons and activities within the classroom, as well as, the cooperative social skills the students need to engage in cooperative school-based activities. My support generally includes social initiations, reciprocal interactions, social perspective-taking skills, positive group behaviors, interest development, and some aspects of self-awareness. This project will support my students from TK through 5th grade in multiple schools within LAUSD.

About my class
