Every year we teach 5th graders Family Life, which consists of personal hygiene and changes your body goes through during puberty. In years past the Always program has provided us supplies to hand out to each student. This year they informed us they are no longer providing schools with supplies. Understanding hygiene is an important part of growing up. After we teach the importance of hygiene, it's great to provide them with the tools (deodorant and body wash) to get started. If we provide the tools early in life it can affect the future!

About my class
