In our classroom, we use online programs that has the ability to read to them and the headphones would allow students to listen to those directions and give them the extra help and understanding of vocabulary. Having the read aloud would help my students that have a language barrier and those who are below grade level to assist them. Headphones are a benefical resource in my class. We use them almost every day and they are so helpful to assist the students with their work and they also help them to keep outside noise from distracting them. Students would be able to listen without the distractions from other students. Students would be able to use these at home as needed.
