Learning about biology and chemistry is interesting, but it is much more interesting when it comes to hands-on activities. Being able to work together in groups on challenging projects like dissections, chemical reactions, and biological processes helps students understand the complex world of science without being limited to just lecture-style classes. It's especially rewarding when students who otherwise do not care for science are stimulated to experience activities in the real world. Many of these young people even go on to college to become physician assistants or lab technicians. Science is fun and activities make it much more so!

About my class
