The pandemic has hurt our struggling students even more than ever. My wonderful kiddos are well below grade level and it's so difficult for them to catch up. I'm in a new position as an academic interventionist and help meet the needs of the students most below grade level by analyzing skills they are lacking and working with them individually or in small groups, on those specific skills. When students are struggling, learning doesn't seem fun, so catching up those skills with games and activities make it all seem less daunting! I also love making home-school connections so I added ziplock bags to send personalized games home to play with their families. Please help stock my new room and position with materials to make catching up fun! Thank you!
