After students have been virtual for so long, we have seen an increase in stress, anxiety, and the urge to move constantly. This project will allow me to equip my classroom with fidget materials and seating options that support my students in all aspects. Flexible seating and chair bands support the students' need for movement and comfort while allowing them to still learn in a classroom. The sensory items allow them to "feel" or "fidget" with one hand while they are still completing their independent practice or even group work with the other.

About my class
