By donating to this project, students will be able to use this technology to research weather patterns, climate and weather predictions. It can also be used to log, over a period of time, their own observations from the school weather station. They will also be able to report their findings using a green screen just like a real meteorologist does in a news broadcast. Not only will this project peak an interest for my student in meteorology but it may also lead to an interest in atmospherics is chemistry, atmospheric physics and weather forecasting. This is an excellent project for my students to get a good grasp on what meteorology is and they may begin to plan their education goals early on by knowing that a career in meteorology is what they would like to pursue.
