My main focus for my project is to start a mini greenhouse experience in my classroom until my students are able to get a big greenhouse. Greenhouses create a hands on learning environment which is essential because every students learns differently. By having greenhouses, my students will be able to watch all of their hard work grow into something fruitful. In my project, I also have all of the essentials to help make our greenhouses successful. I am leaving the type of project they want to grow in the greenhouses up to them, that way they are invested also. A few other things I have also included in my project are buzzers and mini whiteboards. Both of these items will help promote learning by creating a competitive, yet safe learning environment for my students. The whiteboards will help with group work, formative assessments, and much more. The buzzers will create a sense of competitiveness and turn learning into a game, which we all know, students cannot resist.
