I want to allow my middle school students to dissect fetal pigs because this is an experience some of them would never experience until college. STEM projects really capture students attention and give them I drive to learn and could encourage them to pursue a career in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. There is a high demand for workers in the science and engineering fields and I believe if I can get them excited about it while they are young they would be more likely to go to college in a STEM job.

About my class
