These books will help my students learn what it is like to hold a book and read. But most importantly read a book and discover their love for reading that they once had. As a teacher for high school alternative students, it is hard to get them to enjoy a book. These books will help change those mindsets and open them up to a whole new world of learning. Princess Bride and the Crucible are of extremely high interest to the students that I teach. They are able to connect the characters to their own lives and learn lessons from the characters, as well.
