Students need time away from their cell phones, tablets, and computers. With online learning last year, the shift went to technology. Students need to get books back into their hands, feeling the pages turning, smelling the actual paper of a book, feeling the crack of a book opening. Students need to be able to focus their mind OFF screen and focus on words in a page of a good book. These high-interest level reads are accessible for a variety of reading levels and keeps the students engaged. The best part, once they finish a book, they want to read their next book!
