Teaching a vast array of differences among autistic students can be difficult to manage. Each child learns in their own individual ways. However, the sensory area is one area that they all need. A sensory room provides physical and mental stimuli for children with physical disabilities, developmental delays, and sensory impairments. For children with physical disabilities, interaction with sensory stimuli can help them to develop their sight, sound, touch, and hearing, as well as encourage independence. The ability to teach to each individual student will be more attainable while including a sensory area for the kiddos to manage stimuli.
