I think more tablets in the classroom will be beneficial for my students when we begin our research papers/projects. My 5th graders research information about their favorite animal, and my 6th graders conduct their research regarding their dream vacation spot. My classes always enjoy these research topics, as it gives them the opportunity to choose an area for themselves to express their individuality. We spend time in class researching our topic of choice, and these tablets would help students complete their research online. They can also be sent home with students who may not have a device at home for distance learning.
