These tablets will help my students to more easily learn through technology. There are numerous apps for students with autism that I can add to the tablets for them to use and be more independent. My students love technology and having enough tablets for each of my students will make it easier for them to be able to interact more frequently with technology. Technology is often used to support and enhance communication for students with autism. There are hundreds of apps that can help support students with autism at all levels and abilities, while another can help with social cues for a student with strong verbal communication skills. With the addition of more technology in my classroom my students will have a greater chance of building their communication skills. I would love to have enough tablets for each of my students to have one during our technology time. Presently, I have had several of my tablets stop working and I would like to replenish them so that they could all enjoy the technology at the same time.
