I am requesting a class set of the book, Wonder, for my students. During this unit, my students learn about Auggie, a student with a rare genetic mutation. My students will learn how to be understanding of other's differences and how to be kind to others. Inclusion and empathy are skills that are essential in the middle grades. I am also requesting a TPT gift card to go towards purchasing a unit study for the book, Wonder. The lined page and folder bins that I have requested will aid in organization in the classroom and will allow me to be more effective in my instruction.
