Children are naturally drawn to the outdoors for explorations and learning. By having tools outdoors I can allow my students to freely use their imaginations and natural curiosity to dive deeper into learning. The binoculars and specimen viewers will allow students to focus on objects or insects with more detail. The Earthbox planter will allow us to learn how to properly plant seeds and/or plants and learn how to care for them. The three books are to help create lessons and activities for the students. The natural pebbles with uppercase and lowercase letters allows the students to practice skills while enjoying the great outdoors. By donating to my project, you are helping my students achieve a deeper level of learning by using hands-on experience. Most of my students do not have the opportunity for explorations and hands-on experiences at home. That is why it is so important that they can learn through play and nature at school!
