I am a teacher who has been reassigned to the classroom at a different school in the beginning of 2022. My class is made of nonexperience 3-5 year old's who have been diagnosed with Autism, Developmental delays and Rare Congenital Eye defects. My students present with many sensory needs, fears and behavioral challenges that does not allow them the natural freedoms of learning as a typical developing child. Therefore, the items I have chosen will allow sensory needs to be addressed as they finger paint while identifying colors. The use of a classroom projector will be very helpful with enlarging pictures, printed materials, and visual stories to encourage participation and visual perception needs.
