These materials, written by Scholastic, offer a variety of current topics and interests to this age level. In my experience, the articles are well written and offer a great platform for discussion and exposure in a safe arena of learning. The vocabulary and questions also promote learning and analysis. With so many students still being home due to quarantine, this offers a digital form for that student and then they can still participate in the conversations and learning associated with the topic. I have long been a fan of these magazines to promote learning and exposure to current event topics.
