These materials will be used in my sixth and seventh-grade classes. The books are written on their grade level and not only enhance reading skills but allow students to read and enjoy topics that they will be interested in. The students will benefit from the class sets as we read together and discuss the story in groups. Students on lower reading levels can still enjoy the reading material by listening and sharing ideas and thoughts in our class discussions. New books are always exciting in a classroom and will be used for many learning activities in the classroom. Group activities are beneficial as students learn to interact and share ideas in a social setting. Books are a wonderful way to share and get to know students on a personal basis.
