I have discovered as an educator and parent that open ended play is a wonderful tool to help enhance the concepts that are taught in the classroom. We use center time to help students transition to a more relaxed learning environment, which is especially important during these difficult times. These activities build on the ideas and concepts that are taught in a more traditional setting. Through play, we are helping students find their voice and explore different opportunities to interest them. The light table sensory bundle will provide endless learning possibilities in my diverse kindergarten classroom.
