Students will be able to focus on writing instead of the poor condition of the furniture available to utilize. One of the tables in my classroom in actually falling apart. The trim underneath two of the tables is coming off and creates not only a poor writing environment but also is distracting as students can feel it. I shared with my students the possibility of getting this project funded and they were sooo excitied! I have taught in various school settings for over 26 years and THIS small group of students enjoy the writing process more than any I have had the privilege of instructing to date. Thank you for considering our basic need of tables and chairs.
