Covid has impacted all the lives of students throughout the world. My students aren't the exception. The need for computers became priority as students were first forced to learn virtually, and now, utilize a hybrid format of learning. Daily, we are encumbered with challenges of students not having adequate computers to access their materials. The district has placed a hold on many students being able to acquire computers, based on budget issues. Students in my class, aren't able to access their work, which is hindering them from achieving their IEP goals, and negatively impacting their disabilities. Having at least one reliable, higher processing computer, will allow access for most of my students to complete their work, access curriculum aided educational apps, and allow for them to complete course related assignments, mandatory for their matriculation into High School.
