Small groups are essential when trying to close academic gaps. Having an inclusion classroom means that I have learners ranging up to three grade levels below. Having a power hour for math and reading daily has/and still is helping my students gain knowledge over standards missed in the previous grades. These learning center activities will provide my students with the tools they need to assist them in their development of reading, writing and mathematics. By contributing to our literacy project, you are helping my students improve and increase their understanding of how to read and write, also increasing their academic achievement. I want to provide space for students to learn and engage in fun activities. Providing learning centers will allow students to engage while learning and allow me to work with students in each center. Engaging in fun reading and math activities challenge the students minds while engaging in learning.
