Instructional curriculum is an essential tool for teaching math, by including hands-on math manipulitives can help with connecting concepts taught. Hands-on learning help students think outside of the box and grasp what they're taught. Math manipulitives and stem materials requested for my classroom will encourage and engage students to experiment, explore and connect a new way of learning. In light of COVID-19, students have fallen behind academically and socially. By using stem and math manipulitives, this will encourage students in learning as well as social learning as the students work together to problem solve.
