We would like to be able to bring some of the things we are learning through our Western Hemisphere studies to the rest of our middle school and others with a group project: Western Hemisphere Day. Students advance their learning by researching and creating their part of the presentation. These materials will help my class will create a trip through the western hemisphere with “Fun Facts Scavenger Hunt”, crafts, and other activities. These activities will be shared with the rest of the student body and others. Visitors will “travel” to different places to view student created stations. They will complete a scavenger hunt of fun facts as they travel. Participants will also be given the opportunity to do an art project at each station as well. We hope to inspire other students through this project.
