Middle school students love to know how they and other living things work all the way down to the tiny, invisible parts of the world. Students will use the stereo-microscope to view tiny, microscopic size things from the world around them from various areas of Science. They can see plant parts in detail, insects, soil and sand particles, up close details of fossils, rocks and minerals. The slide set will give specific premade slides for students to observe to supplement their study of various topics in Life Science. Individual headsets allow students to use their Chromebooks in a variety of activities without disturbing others nearby by allowing students to stop and replay learning activities as many times as they need. And, as in most classrooms, storage space is at a premium. The rolling stainless steel shelving unit will allow for more storage capability in my room with the added benefit of being able to move it around as needed.
