Students are more likely to process and retain new skills using hands-on learning. These items will help support our math and science skills as well as offer opportunities for meaningful play to support students' emotional needs. The math resources I have chosen will help reinforce prior skills that have been impacted by interrupted instruction. The science materials will help engage and encourage students who have missed so many opportunities due to virtual instruction during quarantines. In addition, I have students needing extra learning opportunities and extensions beyond the general level of their peers.
