My students will benefit from these materials in multiple ways!! For my beginning readers who struggle the most and has had no input at home during Covid months, these supplies will not only allow my weakest readers to be able to interact with books above their level, they will receive encouragement and excitement to see where they can be reading on their own soon! Multisensory approach to reading is what part of my supplies will encompass! A proven strategy, my students who struggle the most need this input to help them become true readers! Along with academic struggles during Covid, my students in less advantaged settings have never learned to interact with others in a game setting, counting spaces, counting money, learning the social skills it takes to be able to communicate with peers in different settings.
