Each student learns differently. Hands on learning allows children to learn by doing. This is what makes learning engaging! It allows the opportunity for creativity and critical thinking. Children are continuously learning. When they are learning through play, it requires significantly less repetition. Interacting with peers through meaningful play opportunities allows social emotional development and problem solving opportunities as well. The pandemic has drastically impacted our children's social emotional and academic development. Providing hands on, interactive, meaningful learning opportunities with peers and innovative teachers will contribute to closing that gap.
