This project will relate to my students and help them advance their academic learning and overall well-being in light of Covid-19, by helping them learn to regulate and manage their big feelings. One of the first and biggest problems teachers face in class, is students social emotional development. The students already come to school not always sure how to interact in a classroom environment. Then you add in Covid, virtual learning, and less in person experiences. This puts the students further behind in their social emotional development. What better way could I support these students then help them find ways to handle their feelings so they can focus on learning and growing relationships with others?
