After the pandemic, my students were drastically affected. Our school did not have the materials or resources to send adequate work home with the children and because of the amount of school missed we were not able to hit a lot of goals. They already face a learning disability; now they are trying to catch up, and unfortunately, they are overwhelmed. We need language arts activity supplies in the classroom to effectively teach. If we can make it fun they are more likely to take notice. This will also allow us to effectively work with the families and to increase positive student engagement. With your support we will be able to successfully use these new language arts activities, puzzles, and games with our special needs students and they will receive an engaging experience in our classroom, which will result in overall student success and enhancement of life, and help us meet their Individual Educational Plan goals. My students have deficits in reading, writing, math and everyday life skills. They require instruction and constant modeling for them to learn necessary foundational skills across academic subjects, social skills, and functional skills that will help them be successful in life. My students need multiple learning models to learn to read, write, emotionally grow, and connect interactively, all while keeping lessons interesting and engaging. These are crucial keys to their success. With your help we can do this!
