It will help teach students science standards in a hands on way with a material they love to use and play with in everyday life. In today’s face-paced environment, students’ attention spans seem to be at rocket speed. By bringing these bright, exciting objects in to the room- I believe I will have my students’ captive attention. These lego kits will make a difference in the students’ learning because they will be excited to participate in the work! I think they will be so engaged, that they won’t even realize that they are actively learning! Looking at photos of these pulleys and payloads- students will only be slightly interested. With these Lego kits, my students will get to recreate the actual systems!
