Over the past few years, Covid 19 has greatly impacted student's academic learning, but more so their social/emotional development. As an Early Childhood teacher, I teach many lessons to help better their social and emotional skills through activities and play. I have observed that students in the past 2 years are lacking more in their social skills due to being kept home during the pandemic for safety reasons. The materials that I am requesting will help create an environment for hands on teaching/learning, will help build a literacy rich environment through communication and play with their peers, and will allow for positive interactions while demonstrating kindness and compassion.
