As stated previously, my classroom doesn't look like those around me. The students within my classroom are allowed to move in order to focus and learn in a way that is most productive for them. Though my students follow procedures for movement during class, I want them to also have the resources to have movement at their desks when big movements are distracting to others. This can be achieved by the use of wobble cushions and fidget toys. Lamps also reduce the need for fluorescent lights that impede student focus.
