My classroom currently has a projector with the wall as the screen. The lights must be turned completely off for the picture to show up bright enough to see. This often leads to disengagement and heavy eyelids. A new TV would allow the lights to be left on and students to view their work in front of them while still seeing the screen without problem. It would allow for more engagement through the use of different apps, video clips, and games. I could quickly show something on the tv and have an immediate discussion. It would allow us to research together and interact with each other about the content we’re viewing. My students are so inquisitive and have so many questions when we read. I would love to show them answers to those questions quickly without the 5-minute process of connecting the projector. The mobile tv stand will allow instructional content to easily be moved around the room to ensure student engagement.
