The books that are added to my classroom needs will go on to strengthen my own classroom library that my students have access to throughout the school day. The sentence strips that I added are to aid in teaching cursive to my students. My students also love to practice our spelling/vocabulary words on dry erase boards, which we desperately needed a class set of. I do feel as though allowing my students to use dry erase manipulatives do give them motivation that pen and paper do not always. A few of the other items that I added included math manipulatives to really drive home fluency in both addition and subtraction.
