First grade is the first class who has never had a real year in school. They are used to quarantining at home and being comfortable while there. I want to make my classroom as comfortable as possible in the least restrictive way while teaching the science of reading. To do that I need flexible seating. I need materials and manipulative that correlate with our new teaching. Students will be able to take home laminated games instead of worksheets and computers. Have fun and be comfortable while learning to read. That is the way it should be for all children.

About my class
