My request is for a lending library filled with a variety of genres that will help motivate my students to become excited about reading. Students with increased opportunities to read will build stamina from reading and improve their literacy development. By having engaging books of various genres in my classroom lending library, students' literacy development will be impacted in various ways. Students will become more fluent with practice. Once their fluency improves, they will be able to focus on comprehension skills, and they will be able to talk with peers about the books they are reading.

About my class
