I have noticed that vast range of abilities and socio-emotional development amongst my students this year...more so than the past years. I would like to increase the number of books in my classroom by offering a more broad range of texts that will reach the various reading levels but will also reach the various interests of my students. I also want to start a collection of read alouds that address socio-emotional learning and development in the classroom. I've noticed an increased need for this in the past years, especially since Covid-19.
