These Lakeshore Learning Centers will be used as fun hands-on tools to keep my students engaged in learning while I am working with other students one-on-one, or with small groups. Young learners need hands-on activities to help them practice new skills stay engaged in learning. They also need small group instruction to meet the needs of the different levels of students in a classroom. Many of my students did not go to Pre K programs because of Covid-19. I have a much larger gap in skill levels in my classroom than I've had in previous school years. It is so vital to cover ground that was lost to prepare them for first grade.
