My students will be able to work hands-on and bring the outdoor environment to inside the classroom. The aquaponics system and leopard gecko will ensure that my students learn by growing their own plants, and teach them the responsibility of caring for living things. The microscopes will improve their knowledge of plant and animal cells by actually seeing them in real time and not just from a textbook. Students are lacking important social skills, such as team building, due to not being able to work with others during the pandemic.
