I do not have a library in my classroom and I want books to be accessible for my students. Before purchasing the books, I did my research and read the summary of each book. Teaching in a rural area, these books can relate to the students and what they have lived through. What a better way enjoy reading. With COVID-19 affecting education, I have noticed many students are not writing where they should be. I purchased a creative writing book to help the students develop their creative side of writing and teaching them that writing does not have to be boring. I have purchased basic classroom material to have readily available for the students. Students in the district often do not have the means to purchase supplies, so I like to provide materials for the students. Lastly, I purchased TPT. TPT provides additional resources and materials for the classroom to reinforce the students learning. I like to implement fun activities for the standards as an engaging way to education my students.
