My students love the hands-on projects that we do in our science class. These kids haven't really had science for the last two years. These projects are designed to get them engaged and to learn content while they are having fun. The motors and batteries will be used in my 8th grade class to build cars. The owl pellets will be dissected, and the bones identified by my 6th grade classes. The magnets and magnetic stirrer will be used in with my 7th grade class to identify magnetic properties in different materials.
