The Oculus Quest will give students a chance to virtually interact with places and people far away. My students will be able to explore using the Wander app and other virtual travel tours. I plan to add other apps and platforms that offer individualized immersive experiences to students who have been unable to freely travel and explore the world due to COVID restrictions. My project will allow my students to practice real world scenarios while accommodating varied levels of speaking and listening skills. This will allow students may feel that they have been isolated a chance to go out into the world.
