I am seeking funding for an iPad and Apple Pencil to help with hands-on modeling of interaction with a text. The iPad can be cast onto my TV in my classroom and can allow me to monitor the room while engaging students. The Apple Pencil will allow me to model proper annotations, corrections of grammar and spelling, responding to a text in a variety of ways, in a way that students can then replicate onto their own papers. These devices will allow for more engaging and multimodal teaching, as I can incorporate visual and audio, as well as interactive student engagement. The possibilities would literally be endless with these tools as resources!
