Good handwriting is an essential foundational skill for kindergarten students to acquire. Due to the pandemic, many of my students are struggling with their fine motor skills. They had to be on electronic devices quite a bit during remote learning last year, and it is showing in their handwriting. The materials I have selected will allow my students to practice their handwriting and strengthen their fine motor skills. The whiteboards can be used during circle time, and I can monitor the formation of letters. During centers, the Follow the Dots Stamps will be used to spell sight words, or the student's name to allow them to trace then write, and the Write the Letter Activity Center will be used at a center to help aid in the correct formation of the alphabet letters.
