I feel that throughout the pandemic, students have not developed good study techniques. After teaching geometry for 20 years I have found that preprinting my notes on paper is very helpful to students. As I teach the students, they work out the problems without having to write all the theorems, postulates, and corollaries. Having the pictures already on the notes is also very helpful. This allows me to quickly get through the notes and free up more time to help students in class. Notes on colored copy paper are even more helpful. It helps them stay organized and not lose important information needed to prepare for tests. Another good test preparation technique is creating a foldable made with card stock. These are fun to create and more durable than regular paper.
